You are responsible for the management, maintenance, availability and security of the network infrastructure and you are the SPOC within the support organisation for network & security related incidents.
Function description
A network & security engineer is responsible for:
- The maintenance of all types of networks within the department.
- The installation of networks.
- The entire process relating to security.
Your profile
- You have a technical diploma with an ICT background.
- A CCNA-certificate is an absolute must.
- CCNP-certificate is a strong asset
- Cisco Catalyst/Nexus - Cisco router (ISR)
- Knowledge of Checkpoint, Bluecoat ASG, F5, Pulse Secure PSA, Infoblox
- Good general IT knowledge
- Communicative (many contacts with customers, external employees, team)
- Ability to work independently
- Strong problem-solving ability
- Flexible
